Reflection of HIgh School
They say high school will be the best years of your life, hopefully they aren't. High school is a great time though. These are the times when we just start to figure out who we are and what we want to do with out lives. Throughout my four years at Lincoln countless things have happened, all good with a few rough patches here and there. High school has definitely changed me. I work two jobs and am involved in three sports. I see my friends more than my family some weeks. One of my biggest worries for after high school would be not being able to see everyone once we all go to college. One of my friends will be starting college in June, she's not even sure when the next time she will be home. Once I finally decide where it is I want to attend college and finally figure out some sort of degree I would like to do I think it will be a little easier. It will definitely be hard, but I think once it all plays out I will enjoy it and in the end it will just help me appreciate my family and friends and the time that I get to spend with them even more.

College Cost
If I end up choosing to stay in town and attend NCTC, tuition would cost around $6,000. The upside to attending this college would be I could stay at home, which would take down a lot of money I would need if I moved any where else. After completing the FAFSA, I would end up having to pay little to no money for the first year. I could continue to apply for more scholarships so my second year would also be on the cheaper side for me.

Reinvention
I don't think I will really change, or reinvent much about myself when I go to college, mostly because I am leaning toward staying in town. If I was planning on leaving I think the only difference I would try to make would be stepping out of my comfort zone more and being more outgoing around people I don't know. The problem about college that I think is bothering me the most, is being far away from home. My whole family including all my grandparents and aunts and uncles have lived in Thief River my whole life. Being away from all of them will definitely be a big change. Of course not seeing my friends has an impact as well, but I know the true friends will always be there in the end. I am looking forward to the freedom of course and how classes are set up. Not going to the same class everyday will be nice.

Multi-Tasking
I think multi-tasking has come along way than how it used to be. But I don't always think it's for the best. For example, cell phones. Cell phones are constantly being used, when studying, watching tv, eating, and of course the big dangerous one, driving. Multi-tasking is a lot more than that though. People do it all the time without even realizing it. After talking about multi-tasking during class, my thoughts haven't changed all that much. Multi-tasking is necessary for the world we live in, but I do think that people think they are better than they actually are at multi-tasking. We need to realize there is only so much we can do at once and actually do it well before we start to fail, get stressed, and possible end up quitting.
